Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Emerging Knowledge Systems (IJEKS) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and scientifically sound research. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process to maintain fairness, impartiality, and academic integrity.
The editorial and peer review process consists of the following stages:
- Initial Editorial Screening: The Editorial Office evaluates the manuscript for compliance with the journal's aims, scope, formatting requirements, and submission guidelines.
- Plagiarism Assessment: The manuscript is screened using plagiarism detection software to verify originality and adherence to publication ethics.
- Reviewer Assignment: Suitable independent experts with relevant subject expertise are invited to review the manuscript.
- Double-Blind Peer Review: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript for originality, technical quality, methodology, significance, clarity, and ethical compliance while the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor makes one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
- Author Revision: Authors revise their manuscript by addressing all reviewer comments and submit a revised version for further evaluation, if required.
- Final Acceptance: The revised manuscript is reviewed by the Editor, and a final publication decision is made.
- Production and Publication: Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, proofreading, DOI assignment, final formatting, and online publication.
